The Highlander House invites you to come and "romance the highlands" in West Jefferson North Carolina. Be ya Irish or be ya Scots, relax and enjoy the surroundings that the Celts experienced long long ago when they came to America.

Go as ya please and be slow paced to enjoy the infinite vistas or if yur for bein out and about we have many little quiet towns scattered around the glens and valleys.

It's a sportsman's haven with motorcycling, golfing, fishing, canoeing, skiing, hiking or just general "lettin go". Something for everyone! We'll transport ya to a magical place of old served up with superb panoramic views and genuine hospitality.
